Hi We are Shaun and Lanette!
Shaun is from Colorado and Lanette is from Oregon. We met in the middle, in Utah, while we were both studying at BYU. We got married in 2007 and are more in love than ever!
Earlier this year we felt strongly prompted that after countless unsuccessful fertility treatments, it was time to look into adoption.
Everything has felt right every since, and we know that this is what the Lord wants us to be doing!

We are avid outdoorsy people...we love hiking, going on long walks, and pretty much anything else that lets us enjoy nature.

We fill our lives with music, art and good books, and love all 3 of those things! We also consider ourselves to be pretty good cooks and especially love baking.
.We are hoping for a fairly open adoption, and are really looking forward to including our baby's biological family in our lives!

Adoption is a great blessing, not only to the parents who want kids, but also to the child and the mother. I was adopted and I don't know what my life would have been like with my birth mother. She got married to a wonderful man almost a year after I was born and my adopted parents and family were amazing!!
Good Luck with the adoption process! I know there's a baby out there somewhere that's meant to come to your home!
