If you look on the bar on the right side of my blog
you will see a list of my favorite adoption books. ...

............ I've had the hardest time finding books that
depict trans racial adoptions

so I tend to lean towards books who's main characters
are portrayed by animals..
which is also great because they can fit any realm of adoption stories .....

............ When I came across "God Found Us You" by Lisa Tawn Bergren

I was hooked.

I love the simplicity of the story, yet you can feel
the love that this adoptive mother wolf has for her little wolf cub. .........

........ I love that their fur are different colors. ........

............. I love how mother wolf explains the love of his birth mother to her cub.

.................... I am not exaggerating when I tell you that

I cry
.........
every time
...........
I read this book to Adam. .............

And as I'm reading to him I am more aware of his sweet little spirit,
I hold him a little tighter and and kiss him a little bit longer
..............
because
.............
I realize what a gift he is to me. ........
.
... When Cooper is old enough I can imagine the two of them curled up together in bed listening to this story and knowing how special they both are. ....
