Spotlight- Josh and Tara

Hi New Friends!!! We are Josh, Tara & Will

We have been married for 6 1/2 years and have 3 miracle boys. Our oldest 2 sons, Gavin & Landon, passed away from a rare heart defect in their infancy so to be able to raise a healthy family, we turned to the wonderful world of adoption. We are a very active and spunky family! One of our New Year's resolutions this year is to have more fun! You can often find us playing at the park with our son Will, having game nights with friends and planning family vacations to Disneyland or Hawaii. A new found hobby of ours is going camping or hiking. Visiting the mountains to explore the water falls or just star gazing at night. But we also love to just relax in front of a good movie with popcorn or some brownies with Carmel.

A little bit about each of us:
................
Josh works for an insurance company in the Quality Assurance Department and is studying to be a programmer/web developer. He has a great love for Martial Arts and is a 2nd degree black belt. He teaches two classes a week to a group of kids in the neighborhood. Another love of his is photography. You can often find him with a camera around his neck, scoping out for a great picture. He loves to laugh and wrestle with our son Will. A family sport that he grew up playing is tennis; we play at almost every family gathering. He is a great example to others and has such a big heart.

Tara is a medical assistant turned stay at home mommy. Her hobbies include scrap booking, blogging, volleyball, softball, swimming and beading with friends. She is a neat freak (in a good way)! Many people say that she has a "Monica Syndrome"--referring to the t.v. sitcom FRIENDS. She loves going on walks and taking Will to mommy & me play groups. Another love of hers in music. She took piano lessons when she was young and has played the flute since high school. No matter what she is doing, her motto is "Everything is more fun with a diet coke and a friend"!

Will is our miracle! We adopted him when he was 4 days old. He is all boy and loves anything that has to do with a ball. His favorite movie right now is "How to Train Your Dragon". He loves dinosaurs and trains. He will be 2 this summer and speaks really well for his age. His new favorite word is 'awesome'. Everyday he asks for a baby and he even has names that he refers to them as. Just an all around cutie!
