To our sons birthmother's

It seems not that many years ago
when all I dreamed about was being a mother.

Never knowing that my children would
come to me through the arms of another.

It would take the strongest
and most courageous woman
To make an almost impossible choice.

But knowing that you'd be given more
made her heart rejoice.

I can never fully comprehend the pain
of the tears she cried.

But I couldn't miss the Lord's hand in all
of this, even if I tried.

Our prayers lead her to us
so we know this was meant be.

She brought you into this world
so you could be with your family
.

She's the woman behind your beautiful smile
and the silly quirks you have.

You will never have to wonder where
you got your eyes or that sweet laugh
.

We are so grateful for her sacrifice,
words can never say.

The magnitude of love we feel for her,
each and every day.
