Hi! Our names are Tom and Shian (sounds like Shan). We have been blessed with one son, Gavin,
who is ten years old. We are a family who loves to spend time together. Some of our favorite things are playing games, watching movies together and building with Legos. Our favorite outdoor activities are jeeping and camping. We also enjoy laser tag, bowling and live theater. We encourage imagination and all forms of creativity. Our extended family lives nearby and we see grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins on a weekly basis. We live in Northern Utah in a very safe neighborhood full of other kids. We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Now that you know a little bit about who we are together, let us describe who we are as individuals.
About my wife
Shian is the most perfect person I know. She is everything to me. She is an excellent mom and will be home with our kids. She loves reading, foot massages and spending time with family. A funny thing about my wife is that her feet HAVE TO hang out of the sheets when she sleeps because they get too hot.
About my husband
I think the most defining thing about Tom is that he is a BIG tease! If I told you nothing else about him that would probably be enough. He is a very s
ervice-oriented person, which is the first thing that drew me to him. He works in the technology field and loves it. He says he’s lucky because he gets paid to play everyday. I have an amazing husband. He is also a fantastic father. He takes time to play with Gavin daily and is excited to have more kids join in on the fun. He understands what being a real dad is all about.

Gavin is in the fourth grade and has such a great sense of humor. As the oldest grandkid on both sides, he is practicing his baby care skills with his little cousins. He can always get a smile out of them. Gavin is a happy, friendly kid. He is interested in Star Wars and Lego’s and loves to talk about them. He takes art lessons and is involved in Cub Scouts. We love him and know you will too.
Children placed with us will experience unconditional love and a lifetime of opportunities to develop talents. We assure you that your baby would know of your love as well. We are hoping for an open adoption including letters and pictures, access to our family blog and in-person visits. You will be welcome in our home.
