Hoping to Complete our Family through the gift a Birth Mother’s Love…
We (Todd & Karine) have been married for 20 years
Karine (the stay at home Mom) was born in Virginia and lived up and down the east coast growing up. (Arlington Virginia, Rockaway New Jersey, New Hampshire, California and Virginia Beach, Virginia) She grew up considering herself a southern/city girl but appreciated the different cultures around her. Karine loves music, she has a great love for a wide variety of music and loves to dance to anything with a great beat. She also loves movies, singing, painting ceramics, baking, decorating cakes, animals, photography and most of all children!
Todd (the Dad) was born and raised in Idaho and then left Idaho shortly to serve in the Navy on a submarine as a sonar technician. Todd was your average ‘American country boy’ who played football in high school and dirt biked the country trails. He had no problem getting dirty and doing the dirty jobs because he was a hard worker from the start. Hunting, fishing and camping are always something fun to do; being out in the country made it easy to do these things as if they were his back yard. Todd really enjoys motor cycles and dirt bike riding. Todd is a big kid and is always playing with the children. He enjoys inventing things and he loves remote control airplanes, cars, tanks, and boats.
Virginia is the oldest child, 18 and has left for her first year in college. She loves music, singing, acting, painting, animals, children and her violin. She has self taught herself how to play the piano and is hoping to become a nurse when she graduates from College. Virginia is a very out going and social person. She has a very positive outlook on life and people are naturally drawn to her.
Kalene is 16 and is also very talented. She loves music and can sing as well. She plays the guitar and has self taught herself to play the flute. She plays so well that she is in the marching band for the first time in her high school. She is currently learning the violin and the piano and desires to learn to play the banjo and harmonica. Kalene is also writing a book and hopes to publish it soon. She can draw amazingly well and has even made logo’s for her school. Kalene also loves to read.
Cally is 13 and is a very creative person and leader. She has a natural ability to make anything she wears fashionable and she tends to set trends at her school from the neat things she comes up with. Cally also loves music and can sing beautifully. Cally is a sweet heart. She is often found making friends with people who need a friend or cheering up someone who is sad. Cally is great at drawing and really enjoys movies and animals. Cally has a job on the weekends with Kalene cleaning an elderly man’s house. She is a really hard worker.
Taylor is 12 and she too is very talented. She is very dramatic and will most likely be an actress some day or in some famous theatrical play. She is fun loving and our family just can count on her to keep us all laughing. She is often found singing around the house. She loves children and animals as well. Taylor loves to draw and is in an art class at school that she enjoys. She loves to play her drums and be a little crazy or silly at times. Taylor also enjoys photography, between Cally and Taylor our camera’s memory card is full.
Jaden is our only boy so far. He is 10. He is so much fun. You can tell he is the only boy because he can out shop any of the girls in our family and usually get the best price because he compares shops. Jaden is a cub scout and loves it! He enjoys bike riding, building things from wood or legos, drawing, animals, computers and games. Jaden is also found singing a lot around our house and he really loves little children. He can’t wait to be a big brother. Jaden is our little man and is often helping Daddy with fixing something or making something. Jaden loves to bake with Mommy. He can make some great cakes too. He is very creative and very active.
We want you to know that we are willing to have as open of a relationship as (you) the birth mother/father wants and needs us to have. We understand that adoption effects more than just the birth mother. It affects all of those in her life as well. We are open to the family of the birth parents being apart of this journey with all of us.
